Welcome to Lutecium Community Referral Clinic. We offer psychotherapy to a broad range of
clients seeking deep and long-lasting change. Our psychoanalysts, psychotherapists, and interns
are training through classical and contemporary models that enable them to address the issues of
our times. Our clinicians are particularly sensitive to class, gender, race, and sexual orientation --
as well as honoring the unique personal past of each individual. We are well equipped to deal with
immigration, domestic violence, sex worker, core gender, and addiction issues as well as more
general issues that commonly impact our lives such as mood disorders, depression, and anxiety.
We believe that the personal and the political are not mutually exclusive.

Our psychoanalytically trained practitioners are committed to offering a quality psychotherapeutic
exchange that promotes deep inner growth in the hope of generating a more humane world. It can
begin with each one of us becoming more conscious of obvious and subtle ways in which we
connect to ourselves and each other. We look forward to working closely with our community
agencies to provide continuity of care services for clients who may be seeking psychotherapy to
complement their current programs or as long-term follow-up treatment.

Services are provided in private practice settings in San Francisco. Our providers are licensed
mental health professionals or license-eligible interns under clinical supervision.  An initial
telephone consultation is utilized to determine suitability of clients for outpatient services. Our
sliding scale fees are based on client’s income and ability to pay.  Rotating referrals are made to
Lutecium Clinic psychotherapists as determined by client’s needs and the therapist’s background
and training.  We are committed to high quality of care and will make every effort to facilitate
further referrals for clients whose needs require services beyond our offerings.
